$2,625,000 Settlement - NY Medical Malpractice. Erb's Palsy. Mother was diagnosed as suffering from gestational diabetes and the fetus was known to be approximately 9 pounds, 6 ounces. Despite these facts a vaginal delivery was attempted. At the time of delivery the newborn's shoulder became stuck behind the cervix of the mother.
